Ziggy is one of our first two Nigerian dwarf goats, along with his sister Cheevers. Something about him just screams mascot energy, and he became our farm’s namesake! His name is derived from the German word for goat: “Ziege.” Cheevers’ name is derived from the French word for goad: “Chèvre.” Do you see a theme here? All 19 of our goats are named an Anglicized version of the word for goat in some other language. When you come visit, you can meet them all and try to learn everyone’s name!
